ABOUT MEL’S RANCH
Thank you for visiting my page. A little about me and my farm. We have a small farm, 20 minutes from Owensboro, with about 3 acres. We are huge animal lovers and will treat your babies like our own. We have dogs, cats, goats, sheep, pigs, and chickens. They are all extremely friendly. While we’re proud of our fun and easygoing attitude, our commitment to the safety and security of your pet guides everything we do. We board most animals including, Dogs, Cats, Goats, Pigs, Reptiles, Bunnies and other small animals. We also offer in home pet sitting and farm sitting.

Put Your Pets First

DAYCARE
We pride ourselves on our professional yet fun approach, and do everything necessary to ensure your pets are safe, secure and happy.
BOARDING
We work hard to make sure your pet feels comfortable and relaxed. Whether it’s their first boarding experience, or they’re seasoned regulars, their wellbeing is central to everything we do.
GROOMING
Your pet’s happiness is our number one priority. During this service, we learn what they like and dislike and always treat them with kindness and patience. And we never charge extra for snuggles - it’s included.
IN HOME PET SITTING
We provide in home pet care while you’re away. We provide walks, feeding and any other care needed for your family pets or farm animals while you’re traveling.
SMALL FARM CARE
If you’re going out of town and need someone to tend to your small farm we can help.
PETTING ZOO
Come visit our new babies and get some cute Easter pix! We have so many new goat babies! $5 per person petting zoo.
Our services include;
Overnight boarding (daily $25, weekly $120)
Doggie daycare $20 a day, $15 for each additional dog
Dog baths $10 to $40 depending on breed
Dog nail trim $10
Dog shave down (prices based on breed $20 to $60)
Flea/tick treatment (k9 Advantix or Frontline) $10
We also provide boarding for goats and sheep and other animals. To learn more about our variety of services, simply reach out.
Doggie daycare includes;
Drop off up to 12 hours (between 7am and 7pm
Daily walk
Backyard play
Group interaction and socialization
Beds and blankets
Your baby can lounge around in my house or play in our well fenced areas throughout the day.
Meals served upon request
(Up to date Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper/Parvo and spay/neuter required)
